Medical Insurance
TeamHealth offers medical insurance to employees. Choices include a preferred provider option (PPO) plan, a high deductible (HDP) plan, and in some cases an indemnity plan. The company and employees share the cost of the coverage.
Although a few exceptions exist, most employees are covered under UnitedHealthcare preferred provider networks (PPO's). Where there is no provider network, employees may choose an indemnity plan. The group number for UnitedHealthcare is 702703.
