George Tracy Assumes Role of President, Spectrum Healthcare Resources, TeamHealth’s Military Staffing Division

(KNOXVILLE, Tenn.) December 9, 2008 – TeamHealth, the nation’s leading provider of outsourced physician and healthcare professional staffing and management services, announced today that effective January 1, 2009, George Tracy will assume the role of President of Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR), TeamHealth’s military staffing division. Tracy has been with SHR for 23 years in progressive management roles, most recently serving as the company’s Executive Vice President.

Tracy replaces Cathy Vivirito, who is retiring after having been with the company since 1981 and serving as its President since 2001. “SHR has the opportunity to serve the physicians, healthcare staff and the Military Health System as they care for those who serve and their families,” said Vivirito. “I have been privileged to have been a part of that service.”

“SHR has consistently performed well and is an important service line within TeamHealth,” said Greg Roth, President and CEO, TeamHealth. “Cathy has done an exceptional job during her tenure with SHR, and I have full confidence in the strength and experience of George and the rest of the SHR management team and their ability to continue the organization’s track record of growth and success.”

Toni Kuehnle has been named Senior Vice President of SHR, where she will assume responsibility for the day-to-day execution of the company’s contract services. Kuehnle joined SHR in 1995 after a 20-year career as a Navy nurse. During her tenure with SHR, she has overseen the successful start-up of contracts with military treatment facilities that required the recruitment of several thousand healthcare professionals.
