Formerly InPhyNet Hospital Services, TeamHealth Southeast is a leading provider of hospital-based physician practice outsourcing. We have more than 20 years of experience in physician management and providing physician-contracted services to client organizations.

TeamHealth Southeast forges partnerships with providers, payors, hospitals and healthcare organizations to harness, enhance and share the knowledge, experience and commitment of all, with the goal of obtaining better medical outcomes for patients and improving the effectiveness of hospital-based healthcare resources in the communities we serve.

Corporate Profile

TeamHealth Southeast was established in 1993 as a fully-integrated physician network formed as the parent of EMSA and Acute Care Specialists.

We work in partnership with our clients to offer effective physician leadership, sound management and comprehensive support for our hospital-based services. TeamHealth Southeast continues to grow through its affiliation with new facilities and quality physicians.

TeamHealth Southeast is led by Oliver Rogers, CEO. Mr. Rogers joined TeamHealth Southeast in 2003. Mr. Rogers has extensive experience in operations roles for healthcare organizations. Most recently he served as senior vice president, Operations, for PhyCor, Inc.

Mr. Rogers received his Masters of Health Administration from Duke University and received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Stephen Holtzclaw, M.D., has more than 20 years of experience in emergency medicine and has been with TeamHealth since 2001 as chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine at TeamHealth East client The Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore. He was recognized as TeamHealth East's Affiliate Medical Director of the Year in 2004.

A former paramedic, Dr. Holtzclaw earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and completed an emergency medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he also serves as a faculty member for the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Holtzclaw is board certified in emergency medicine. In addition to his hospital-based service, he has volunteered as a team physician for the U.S. National Shooting Team and the U.S. Modern Pentathlon Team. He also competed in five U.S. Olympic Trials and is a licensed FAA commercial pilot. Dr. Holtzclaw has relocated to southern Florida with his wife, Laurie, and their two children.
