Overview
TeamHealth Radiology provides radiology staffing and management services to hospitals and imaging centers across the country.
Corporate Profile
Founded in 1991, TeamHealth Radiology began by providing 24-hour-a-day centralized coverage as well as expertise in MRI and CT interpretations for rural physicians who lacked access to or experience in these modalities. The company then expanded to provide hospitals with comprehensive management and staffing for their radiology Departments.
Today, we are affiliated with more than 40 community-based, full-time radiologists who provide radiology services to hospital and imaging center clients. Some of the comprehensive management services provided include:
- Recruiting, credentialing coordination, and scheduling
- Professional development training for chiefs of radiology
- 24-hour radiology coverage, with access to subspecialty expertise, through our national teleradiology network
- Medical licensure, CME, and mammography statistics tracking for our radiologists
Alan Taylor oversees operations and client services for TeamHealth Radiology's hospital clients and their affiliated imaging centers. Mr. Taylor has extensive experience in client services and operations roles for healthcare organizations. Most recently he served as regional vice president, central region, for Alliance Imaging, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Taylor worked with PhyCor, Inc., in a variety of positions, such as consultant, interim executive director, vice president of group operations, and executive director of the Southern Colorado Clinic. He has also held positions with Quincy Medical Group and Carle Clinic Association and was equity owner and manager of Medicare Equipment and Supply/Care Products, a durable medical equipment and pediatric rehabilitation service provider.
