TeamHealth Hospital Medicine division supports all of our divisions in their delivery of hospital medicine programs and services nationwide. By implementing and overseeing strategies to continually improve patient care among TeamHealth-affiliated hospitalists, TeamHealth Hospital Medicine ensures consistency among the various hospital medicine programs offered to TeamHealth clients. Some of the results of initiatives put in place by this division include:

TeamHealth Hospital Medicine was established in the early 1990s in response to the growing demand from our long-time emergency medicine clients who needed a solution that provided full-time, consistent care for their admitted patients. Today we are one of the nation's leading providers of hospitalist and intensivist services.
Chris Frost, MD, vice president of hospital medicine and clinical excellence, leads TeamHealth Hospital Medicine. His extensive experience in hospital medicine, including more than five years of experience as a medical director and two years as a regional medical director, lend the unique physician understanding required to ensure the benefits of a hospital medicine program and our clients’ success with their individual hospital medicine programs.
