Formerly Emergency Physician Associates, TeamHealth East provides administrative and staffing services to hospital emergency departments, hospitalist programs, house physician contracts, urgent care centers and occupational health services in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.

TeamHealth East offers staffing, management, billing and consulting services for the emergency department, house staff, urgent care and occupational health needs of our clients. TeamHealth East's programs are designed to help our affiliated physicians improve patient care, promote cost efficiency and enhance a hospital's standing in the community. Our physicians are supported by an experienced management staff and complemented by support services and programs tailored to each hospital's needs.
Founded by James E. George, MD, JD, FACEP, a practicing emergency physician and health law attorney, TeamHealth East understands that quality emergency services begin with quality emergency physicians. TeamHealth East seeks out career-oriented physicians who meet high standards and adhere to the principles of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Every physician's background, education and experience is reviewed and presented to each client for its own hospital credentialing purposes.
