TeamHealth Expands Anesthesia Presence in New Jersey and New York
April 23, 2012 (KNOXVILLE, Tenn.) April 23, 2012–TeamHealth Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: TMH), today announced the acquisition of the operations of Bergen Anesthesia Associates, P.A., and Teaneck Anesthesia Group, P.A., and related entities, expanding TeamHealth Anesthesia’s presence into New Jersey and New York. Through this new relationship, TeamHealth will assume responsibility for the anesthesia management services provided to Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, N.J., and three independent Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs) by 25 anesthesiologists representing approximately 15,000 annual cases.
